How to Apply
1.) Print the on campus housing application and
the lease guaranty. This
will
include the On-Campus Housing Application, Lease Guaranty, and Rental
Application Criteria.
2.) If you will be a financial aid recipient, you will need to complete
and submit the Housing Payment Option form.
3.) Fill out each form completely. Double check to make sure all
requested information is complete.
4.) Submit On-Campus Housing Application, Lease Guaranty and Rental
Application Criteria with a $200 non-refundable application fee. Make
check or money order payable to Camden Miramar.
The Assignment and Communication Process
- After receipt of the of the completed
On-Campus Housing Application with $200, Lease Guaranty and Rental
Application Criteria, Camden Miramar will mail a "Receipt" postcard.
This will only inform you that we have received your information.
- Once the current resident renewals are completed by the end of March,
the new applications are ready for assignments.
- When we are able to guarantee a bed on-campus, Camden Miramar will
mail a "Guarantee" postcard. This will inform you that a bed is
reserved, not a specific assignment or floor plan. The postcard also
states that at this time a $200 confirmation prepayment* is due 60 days
prior to move in.
- Finally, an Assignment Packet is mailed when the specific assignment
is made. In the Assignment Packet is a Confirmation letter (including
room assignment, room phone number, roommate/suitemate name and
number), Lease Contract and Community Policies and other informative
documents. Please share this information with a parent/guardian. This
will make your transition to on-campus life much easier.
- Due to the complex nature of housing assignments, changes will not be
made until after the 12th class day.
* $200 Confirmation Prepayment is applied to the first month's rent as
the resident moves in. This is separate from the $200 non-refundable
application fee.
